Meet the Team

Wood working quickly became a hobby for Daniel after taking a woodshop class at his high school. He asked for a lathe as a graduation present and from there Halleck Designs slowly started to come to life. About a year after that, Halleck Designs was created, in the summer of 2010.

Since then we have expanded from making projects every few months to every few days. We have one or more of our products on every continent, except Antarctica. We also have many repeat customers which speaks to the quality of our work. When we started making pens to sell, we decided we never wanted to sell a pen that we weren’t proud of. This has led to throwing out several pens, but we want our customer to be just as happy with our work as we are.

Daniel Halleck ~ President 

Graduated from Naperville Central High School and Augustana College in Rock Island, IL.

Daniel works for an Accounting and Inventory Management Software company providing updates and implementing changes in the software. At night, he likes to kick back and have a nice craft beer or work on his next wood project. He greatly enjoys making bowls, which will eventually find there way to the company website.

Dave Halleck ~ Treasurer & CPO(Chief Pen Officer)

Dave has worked for ABM, Inc for over 23 years. He enjoys getting creative with pens, trying to add new inlays of various materials to each one.
